(My friend Deborah and Me at The Wendy Williams Show)

On August 6th , I left home about 6am to catch the train to New York City. I had a good reason to wake-up so early, I had tickets to see a live tapping of the Wendy Williams Show. I applied for tickets in late June and received a reply during mid July stating my request for tickets have been granted. I was excited. I’ve heard so many people say good things about Ms. Williams show, so I was excited to go.

Audience members were asked to be at the set by 8:15 am, so since I’m not good at directions, I left early to give myself enough time to lost and to get there on time. While walking, I recieved a couple compliments from the nearby construction workers( courtesy of the dress code for Wendy’s show). I later recognized that the building that hosts The Wendy Williams Show is right next to the construction site, so the workers were used to see beautifully dressed women since the show has been there. The were two lines when I got there, with the first one holding at least 100 people. I didn’t expect so many people to show up at 8am in the morning.

My friend Deborah met me later (with her very nice boyfriend) and we were able to go inside. After We signed in and got out tickets for the show and freshned up, we walked into The “How You Doin” room. The “How You Doin” room is just a little lounge where audience members sit and talk until their called to go into the studio for the show. Its very crowded and very loud, since their probably 200 to 250 people all talkind at the same time. Everyone there is greeted by a few producers who ask us to fill out a survey, its for people who want to ask Wendy for advice for her segment “Ask Wendy”. I’m too shy so I decline. Later, we’re called in and we get in out seats. I’m so excited.

The studio is a lot smaller than it looks on television. Later, the producers introduce their selves and even start a dance off to get everybody excited for show ( a woman in an orange dress wins hands down and gets a tote bag with the Wendy Williams Show Logo on).

Wendy is person looks exactly the same, she is very tall and full of life. My favorite part of the show was when Boys 2 Men performed and Nathan and Shawn gave out roses in the audience . Guess who got one? Me! I was so nervous when I saw Nathan walking up the aisle, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I was so happy, if he would of sang to me, then I would’ve definitely had a hear attack LOL. I had a great time and loved every minute of it.

Although this is the last week of the six-week run of The Wendy Williams Show, her show has been picked up by FOX and will turn next year!!!! So be sure to tune in during 2009 to catch new episodes of the show.

Check out the recap video here: at:19, you can see me and Deborah in the far left (way in the back).

Over the weekend Ellen Degeneres and Portia De Rossi were married in California. The only 20 guests were present (including both Ellen & Portia’s mom’s). Check out their wedding photos and much more when the next issue of People Magazine hits newsstands this Friday. Congratulations to Ellen and Portia !!!!

It’s about time, I look at marriage as love and commitment between two people, other things like sexual orientation/race/religion etc. doesn’t matter. As longs as there’s love, its really all that matters.

Check This Site Out: If Looks Could Kill August 20, 2008

If you have any spare time and you’re near a computer, check out :If Looks Could Kill. Don’t be fooled by the title, this webisode series has a mixture of drama, suspense and a stash of Lifetime movie potential (which is a good thing). The webisodes follow main character Bianca, an up-coming fashion designer whose world is caught upside down when she meets up with her estranged father (whose apart of the CIA). She soon learns that people are after her, which begins the “cat and mouse” game between her and her enemies and us to help her.

I’ve been going on the site for last couple of weeks, watching the webisodes and trying to help Bianca find clues to help her (which is often tricky and difficult). Its alot of fun and can be alittle addictive, (kind of like when you’re playing a video game and you’re striving to get to that top level, but you continue to mess up in the end). Although the contest to win the new 2009 Toyota Camry V6 XLE to win is over, the webisodes will keep you coming back to the site for more.

A release date has been set for Noah’s Arc, The Movie. It is set to premiere in limited cities across the U.S. on October 24th. I am so happy and excited for this movie. I’m glad to see Noah, Alex, Ricky and Chance are back, the cancellation of the series was uncalled for and the movie was definitely necessary.  Check out the movie’s offical website for more info and watch a new scene from the upcoming movie.

I know this is my third youtube video in a row, but since August 8, 2008 is the luckiest day of the year, I decided to post a video filled with a postive message. Recently, professor Randy Pausch has passed away from his battle with cancer. However, for the past year, he has gained media coverage for his lectures to anyone willing to listen, to live their life to the fullest. I know this video is old by now, but i just wanted to post it.

With the recent slander from Rev. Jesse Jackson and his supporters claiming he’s “flip-floping”, I thought it be appropriate to post Amanda Diva’s song, “Watch Your Back Obama” from her new mixtape, “Foreplay” ( a great song!).

I guess most of you have heard about Wendy Williams cat fight with Omarosa (of Reality Show Fame, i.e. The Apprentice and The Surreal Life) on her show, The Wendy Williams Show. I haven’t been able to watch the show when it comes on, so I can only catch it on youtube. But on August 6th, I will be in the audience, I got tickets!!!! I’m so excited, if I can, I’ll write a behind the scenes post. Back to Wendy vs. Omarosa, to me, it seems like a publicity stunt, but I still like the show. What do you think?

If you have been to any newsstands lately, then you already noticed The Obama’s gracing the cover of People Magazine. This is said to be the first and last “getting personal” with Obama and his family. I already picked up my copy and the article was great. Check it out and be sure to pick up your own copy.
